A Tin Drum Asia Café Tasting: Fast, Fresh, Asian Fusion

There’s a new Asian fusion café that is building a lot of buzz in Tampa Bay. In early May, the Tin Drum Asia Café opened its doors in Oldsmar and invited a handful of ourTampa Bay Bloggers to experience its fast, fresh cuisine inspired by a variety of Asian street food.

Tin Drum Asia Cafe

As the legend goes, there was a man who would walk the streets beating on a tin drum, calling the locals together to listen to music, catch up on gossip and most importantly, share a meal. This man was known as a Tin Drummer.

At the sound of the beat, people would follow the Tin Drummer into the colorful cafes filling them with the buzz of lively conversation against the clamor of pots and pans and the dizzying scents of sizzling woks and everyone equally (young, old, poor or rich) enjoyed in the simple joy of the foods they loved. The Tin Drummer was the pulse of the community in ancient times, much like the bloggers are the pulse of the community blasting out the joys of good food through the blogosphere.

Like legend of long ago, a scene of clamoring pots and lively conversation around sizzling, tasty Asian street food was the backdrop of Tin Drum Asia Café on its opening day. As the servers of the Tin Drum Asia Café banged on pots and pans to create the flavorful and colorful meals, we were pulled into conversation, the sights and sounds that create such a tasty and welcoming atmosphere.

Hi there. I am looking for a Tampa area yacht club with an acivte, racing Cat fleet. I sail a 20 Shark in NY and am looking for fall, winter and spring racing. I would definitely buy another boat to be part of an acivte racing Cat fleet. Suggestions?Dom
