Welcome back to another fabulous #FridaySharefest!
Each week for our #FridaySharefest, we spotlight a different blogger to showcase some of the faces in our community of bloggers. This week, our host is Denise Mestanza-Taylor, Founder of the Tampa Bay Bloggers.
The Tampa Bay Bloggers represents nearly 300 highly influential bloggers from all over the bay area from Citrus County to Sarasota County and as its Founder, I connect brands with bloggers of every lifestyle niche by building social media marketing strategies and blogging campaigns. As a long-time bloggers and a leader in the blogging community, I mentor bloggers and present workshops on how to monetize a blog and build your brand.

While I am the founder of the Tampa Bay Bloggers, I am also one of the many fitness and mommy bloggers in our network, but I prefer to label myself as a “mother runner”. My blog, Run DMT, shares my running adventures, recipes, travel tips, “race”cations and family fun from from a marathon mom on the run. As a mommy blogger, I’ve appeared on our local news station, contributed as a Superoo for Trekaroo (a family travel site) and Moms Rising as part of the #GoodFoodForce.
But enough about me! You’re here to view what our other bloggers have to share and your own blog posts.
Here’s a glimpse of what the bloggers shared last week and few of my favorites.
We’re in full back to school mode here in the Tampa Bay, which means lots of homework, packing lunches and after school activities. Packing lunches every day is quite the chore and if you’re not using reusable containers, you will be wasting more than money. If you want to save some green, then you may want to invest in reusable food containers, utensils and water bottles. Calley shares some wonderful waste-free lunch ideas at Earth 911.
And speaking of packed lunches, Tracy of Having Fun Saving shared a cleverly delicious kid-pleasing idea. Check out these simple pizza pockets!
Another way to live green and save on some green is by checking out books from your local library. Our own crossfit, eco-friendly librarian, Jenny, shares a couple of book titles that are worth reading.
If you’re hungry for more, Tracy has a Stuffed Peppers recipe with simple step-by-step make ahead directions that will have you salivating for sure! Whether you freeze ahead dinner or simmer the stuffed peppers in a slow cooker, this recipe is perfect for busy school days.
And don’t miss out on your chance to win a #Back2SchoolTech SPLASH Prize Pack from our friends at AT&T! The #Back2SchoolTech SPLASH Prize Pack includes FOUR tickets to the Florida Aquarium and an Ion Party Starter Bluetooth Speaker! Enter here.
Thank you to everyone for all of the fantastic posts! Keep ‘em coming!
