A couple weeks ago, we had the pleasure of visiting Elevage, the restaurant residing inside the Epicurean Hotel in South Tampa. In case you have not visited the Epicurean yet — you need to add it to your to-do list! An upscale & modern hotel, the Epicurean is a prime place to relax, enjoy Tampa and allow yourself to be spoiled by their amenities.
The chefs at Elevage takes classic dishes to the next level — adding new flavors and spins to entice your tastebuds and craving more! I’ll spare you the chit chat and share the delectable dishes we were able to indulge in:
For starters, we tasted the Deviled Eggs [with a touch of dill, so tasty] & Snow Crab Claws [can you go wrong with crab legs? Delicate with a hint of jalapeño]
Their salads — let’s call them masterpiece parties. Why, you ask? They were a perfect blend of tastes — classic Caesar Salad & their Florida Strawberry Salad — mix them up and it’s a party! Each salad had its own style and an added twist so not comparable to others.
Elevage spoiled us with all the tastiness of their sandwiches & entrees. We indulged in the Risotto Cordon Bleu, Homage to Bern’s (a pressed steak sandwich), Juicy Lucy Burger, onion rings & fries. There was definitely no shortage of taste — or food! Each blogger had their favorite dish, you knew who loved what based on how many times we asked for that specific plate!
We ended our tasting on a sweet note, macaroons, brownies and the perfect cheesecake topped with a Florida strawberry. And if you know the author of this post — of course, coffee. *Plus, visit Elevage Bar on the second floor, for a daily happy hour from 3PM-7PM — I heard it has quite the view!
