Hi everyone! I’m Steph, the voice of the blog Orangespoken!

At Orangespoken I share stories of love (I’m recently engaged!), good food, healthy living and life after losing my mom to breast cancer, I have lived in the Tampa Bay area all of my life and enjoy everything our beautiful city has to offer!

I’m just getting back into town after a glorious week in the mountains of North Georgia! A group of us rented a cabin and explored the beautiful blue ridge mountains, soaked in some cold weather, and enojoyed some holiday fun. 

Now that I’m back home, I’m working on my holiday shopping list! I hope to cross out some names this weekend. I don’t know about you, but shopping makes me H-U-N-G-R-Y. Based on these delicious reviews, here are a few places I might hit to grab a bite to each during my holiday shopping adventures!

This Jenn Girl is sharing her mouth-watering thoughts on the new Better Byrd in St. Pete! With all of the unique shopping destinations the ‘burg has to offer, this would make an excellent lunch or snack stop- hell0 freshly made mini-doughnuts!

If you’re shopping in the USF or Temple Terrace area, you might want to grab lunch or dinner at Pennies In My Pocket’s new find The Chicken Salad Chick! A whole restaurant dedicated to chicken salad (with 15 flavors to choose from)? Sign me up! Tia’s favorite was the Dixie Chick, if you need help deciding. 😉

Headed out to Brandon for some holiday shopping? Then you’ll have the perfect chance to stop by the Seminole Hard Rock for lunch or dinner at Rock N’ Raw sushi! Casa de Crews recommends the Luc Lac Beef Tenderloin and the Mexican roll. Both dishes look and sound scrumptious! 

And lastly, Tampa Mom Runs is giving away an entry to the upcoming Hot Chocolate 15k/5k on her blog (in case you need a hot, tasty beverage to wash all of that food down)! Check it out and enter before 12/11!
