Hello! I am the voice behind the blog Pennies In My Pocket. I have mastered living a full life on a limited budget. On the blog, you will learn my strategies for living a frugal life that’s not restricted and boring. I will show you how I am able to eat out, travel, attend live shows and concerts and much much more with just pennies in my pocket.
This week I will be speaking at The Tampa Lady Project’s First Birthday Party about how I balance my full-time career as an Educator with my part time vocation as a blogger. The TPA Lady Project is a non-profit organization which seeks to connect, inspire, and showcase the women doing amazing things in the Tampa Bay area. As many teachers and students have returned back to school this week, we will take a second the remember the summer that has come and gone. Rachel of Small Towns and City Lights shares some helpful tips for traveling by train in Europe.
Even though summer vacation is over for most of us with the return back to school, the weather in Tampa feels like summer much into the Fall Season. Flower of Up & Humming shared some important tips for keeping your cool in the heat.
Well speaking of heat, we hope that we do not have to experience it in our lifetime but with the political climate as it is, who really knows. J Scott of Semi Pro Dad shares a satirical piece on surviving a nuclear holocaust with children.
And when all else fails, grab a drink right?! Kim from The Cocktail Couple shares several cocktail recipes inspired by the upcoming solar eclipse.
Lastly, I would be remiss not to say Happy Birthday to my mommy. She is also an educator and the woman who supports all of my endeavors. Here is to another amazing year!
