Hi bloggy friends! Famous Ashley Grant here. If we haven’t met before, nice to virtually meet you! On my own blog I write about everything from DIY projects to food and drinks, working anywhere with Wi-Fi, and things going on in my life. If we have met, it’s good to see you again, and thanks for stopping by!
While the rest of the country is celebrating the beginning of fall, and the cooler temps that follow, we’re still sweating our kiesters off. Amiright?!? For me, it’s a little difficult to get excited about the pumpkin spiced lattes that are rolling out because it’s too hot for coffee, so far. Then again, I’ve never met a pumpkin spiced martini I didn’t like – and those are served cold. But I digress… Let’s get to why you’re really here, shall we?
Here are a few of my favorite posts from the last week:
Since I can’t quit talking about how hot it is, my first choice for the week is Heather from My Sweet Savings and her review of Watermelon Ball Jr. Let’s just say that this post had me wanting to jump into a pool like now! And, it brought back memories of when the older kids at summer camp covered a watermelon in Vaseline, and asked the younger kids to retrieve it from the lake. Good times! Moving on…LOL!
Next up is Tracy with Having Fun Saving and Cooking and her Berrylicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie. Not only did she make her own peanut butter for this recipe, she customized it by adding white chocolate to the mix. Say what?!? Oh yeah! You gotta check out how to make this divine looking concoction STAT!
Third, I was obviously hungry when looking for awesome blog posts to feature because I stumbled upon this Caribbean Jerk Chicken Bowl with Pineapple Salsa and Fried Plantains, and could not stop drooling. This amazing looking dish comes from Tabitha over at Fresh Mommy Blog. Oh – and p.s. SO jealous she’s about to go on a cruise with Oprah. Yep – you read that right. OPRAH! I know I’m not alone when I say – don’t forget to pack me in your suitcase!
Finally, I could not help but jump for joy when I saw Gina’s blog Babe Crafted added a post called The Only Video Equipment You Need for Your Small Biz. Here’s the thing – I’ve been trying to get up the courage to do more video, and I’ve been afraid I needed all kinds of gizmos and gadgets to dive in. I was thrilled to see the equipment list isn’t nearly as scary as I expected. I know I’ve said this for years now….but I’m REALLY going to try and do more videos on my site and social platforms asap!
