Misadventures of an Outdoorsy Diva is a cyberspace funzone! I share my adventures in the outdoors with my teenage son, travel, theme parks, food, festivals, and other unique, fun activities. My mantra is ‘Adventure Is A Lifestyle’ and I aim to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and try new experiences.

This month on the blog we’re celebrating Black History Month with unique ways a special African American heritage exhibit at Epcot. and a spotlight on trailblazing African Americans who are embracing the outdoors and breaking boundaries in the outdoor sports world.   I’ve also got some great ideas to help you celebrate Valentine’s Day on the wilder side as well as everything you need to know to plan your swim with the Florida manatees this winter. Tampa Bay Bloggers is an awesome community.  I enjoy participating in our #FridaySharefest so much because it’s a wealth of information and inspiration!   Here are a few of my favorite posts from my fellow talented bloggers this week.

First up, Nichole at Casa de Crews takes us on her fun strawberry filled adventure to the strawberry fields of Plant City and the culinary adventures of the Epicurean.  Check out this great advice on how to store your strawberries just in time for the Florida Strawberry Festival.

Next we have a great adventure in the Grand Canyon from Victoria on her travel blog, Follow Me Away.  Her photographs are amazing! She shares with us how to see the Grand Canyon when you only have a few hours! I didn’t think that was possible. I will definitely save this one away for future use.

Rachel from Small Towns and City Lights takes us on a journey to Vienna, Austria!  She gives an awesome review of this romantic little European boutique hotel.
