Hey everyone! Happy Friday! My boyfriend Terrence and I are behind our blog www.followmeaway.com. He does the photos and I do the writing so I will be hosting on behalf of both of us. We love to blog about travel tips, local events, and far-flung fun. The main focus of our Follow Me Away project is our photography. We are redefining what it means to be travel photographers by expanding the definition to include different photographic styles. Enough about me! Here are a few of my favorites from the last week:
If you haven’t heard, The Wizard Of Oz is in town at the Straz Center this week! Jessica from Tampa Mom’s Run took her adorable 4 year old and her young best friend to see the show. Instead of a typical review, Jessica interviewed the kids and gave us a peek into what a couple of 4 year olds thought about a live production of the Wizard of Oz! Plus, they dressed up in costume which is something I can totally get behind!
As a travel blogger myself, I absolutly loved Shannon from A Dash Of Sparkle‘s post about Tipping During Summer Travel. She covers when to tip, who gets tipped, and how much is acceptable to tip. Her post was a great resource to those of us who are constantly Googling how much to tip the bellhop or housekeeper.
If you are like me and have NO IDEA what this Pokemon business is about, head over to Flower’s blog Up and Humming for the latest scoop. In her Tech Tuesday post, she explains what the heck Pokemon Go is, a bit about how to play it, and how it has helped her family exercise. I discovered that Pokemon Go isn’t like other video games and actually inspires people to get up and out of the house and interact with others!
