Hi friends! My name is Steph Garcia Fields, and I am the writer over at Orangespoken.com where I share stories of life, love, food, and fitness! When I’m not writing, I’m traveling all around the country for work (I’m an educational consultant), and when I’m home, I’m in my kitchen cooking, visiting farmer’s markets all around town, and hanging out with my backyard chicken flock. I married an amazing man 100 days ago and just recently wrote about our first months as husband and wife. Check it out here!

Katie, from Helpful Homemade, wrote a post detailing the beginning stages of the adoption journey her and her husband have just embarked on. As someone who has thought deeply about adoption with my new husband, I’m eager and excited to follow their journey to parenthood and collect some tips along the way for when we are ready to think about beginning our own adoption story! 
Krayl, from the blog Krayl Funch, just recently launched her own candle line! I’m SO excited about trying her Sunday Brunch scent! It sounds just fabulous. A candle to complement brunch? As someone who hosts brunch for my chicas often, I’ll take two! Congratulations Krayl! 
Marsha, from Plate Girl, recently wrote about one of my favorite late summer treats= mangoes! In her post she talks about growing up in Miami with mangoes all around; which made me think of the days of visiting my family in Pembroke Pines every August and picking mangoes and Florida avocados off the many trees my family had on their property. Thank you for helping me to connect with those memories once again Marsha!
And last but not least, school is starting this week all around the Tampa Bay Area and Melanie, from the Modern Mami, shares some awesome tips for helping your student seamlessly transform from an elementary school student to a middle schooler! Happy Back to School to all of the families sending their kiddos off to their new classrooms!
