Can you believe that back to school has already begun! When I was a kid…I loved this time of year. New school supplies (still love them at 32), new clothes, new sneakers, and a new LUNCH BOX! Needless to say, my parents had to easy for getting me geared back up for the school year. And there’s me…
…the 32 year old who checks out the school supply section every single time I walk into Target. I blog over at Live. Sweat. Sleep. and share my love for Tampa, food & fitness — usually in that exact order.
Since those yellow school buses will be back on the road soon, I wanted to share some deets on back to school, a couple local activities to enjoy before your tiny humans go back to school… and how to extend that summer vacation!
Jessica, with Tampa Mom Runs, shares with us how Westfield is making it easy for back to school shopping….plus, making it fun for the kids so it isn’t such a chore for the family.
I shared a blog post recently to showcase Summer Movie Classics at Tampa Theatre downtown. It is a fun way to share some of yours’ (or your parents’) favorite movies with your older kids. Plus, visiting the Tampa Theatre is almost a history lesson in itself! Check out the post for full details, and how they’ll be getting new seats soon! Tampa Theatre is taking donation for #CushYourTush to give our beloved theatre a little upgrade.
Diana, with Housewives in the City, shares with us another fun event downtown, The Art of Brick. Fun for all ages and FREE! While I have not visited myself, it’s an exhibit made entirely of blocks! It looks like it would be a fun experience — her family loved it. You can visit now, until September 4th, at 802 East Whiting Street, downtown.
